PAST STAINLESS STEEL WORKS
Some of our past works using stainless steel include kitchen fit-outs, which required splashbacks, benches, exhaust hoods, ventilation and ducting. We have also made other items from eskies and hot dog/take away trailers to simple items such as flashings and precise covers.
EXCEPTIONAL BENCHES
All of our benches are strengthened with marine-grade ply so they are waterproof, durable and robust.
REMOTE HOUSING PROGRAM FABRICATORS
Over the years, since the NTG released the SIHIP Program, Darwin Sheetmetal has fabricated the stainless steel furniture for the Remote Housing Program. We fabricate all benches, robes, pantries and shelves. In addition, we also supply door protection plates, ORG covers and power meter protection covers, to name a few.
LASER-CUTTING RESULTS
Our precise laser-cutting machinery can cut up to 16 mm of stainless steel, right here in Darwin.
STAINLESS STEEL SHEET STOCK
Darwin Sheetmetal also stocks a wide variety of stainless steel sheet stock.
We carry various 304 and 316 grade stainless steel, from 0.55 mm to 16 mm.
We stock #4 finish (brushed polish), 2B finish (mill) and #8 finish (mirror polish).
